ConEmu continuous high I/O Other

description

Getting continuous high I/O Other usage from ConEmu as shown in this graph (from SysInternals Process Explorer):

I/O Other Graph

I noticed that the amount of I/O per time unit is dependent on the size of the ConEmu window. If I reduce the ConEmu window to about half from maximum size the I/O reduces to about half also.

Operating system: Windows 8.1 x64
ConEmu: 64 bits 140522
Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080

I also used ConEmu on Windows XP 32 bits and did not notice this problem.

@Maximus5: Thank you. The "Sleep in background" option solves the problem.

Does "Sleep in background" option affect performance for programs ran under ConEmu if I place it in background? Or does the setting only affect the performance of ConEmu itself?

Awesome console application by the way :)

Console application continues to run at full speed. Just speed of ConEmu output in background is affected.
